Many children become afraid of darkness at some point. Night lights like these give them the independence to turn on a dim light if needed.

The Miracle Blanket is great for babies who seem to escape other swaddles easily and for babies who are easily awoken by the velcro straps of other swaddles.

Dr Brown's Bottles

The newer “options” bottles can be used with or without the vent. These bottles offer preemie size nipples to mimic a slow breastmilk flow for newborns and reduce gas and colic.

Blackout Shades

If you’re looking for an inexpensive solution for blackout shades these stick-on blinds are perfect!

Dr Brown's Nipples

Having the correct nipple size on your baby’s bottles is important to ensure that they are able to get the right amount of food at each feeding.

Puracy Laundry Stain Remover

This laundry stain remover tackles tough stains extremely well and will keep your baby’s clothes and blanket stain-free.

Mam Pacifiers

These pacifiers tend to stay in baby’s mouth well and they have some very cute designs.

Bamboo Swaddle Blankets

These bamboo swaddle blankets are super soft and are large enough to be used for swaddling, as a burp cloth, or as a play mat.

Littlebeam Nursing Pillow

These small, portable, memory foam pillows work well for any nursing parent whether you’re feeding your baby on the couch, in bed, in a rocker, or on the go.

Mustela No-Rinse Soap

Sometimes your baby doesn’t need a full bath and you just want to give them a quick wipe-down. This soap is an excellent option in place of a sponge-bath or full bath.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil has a variety of uses when it comes to babies. You can use it to prevent diaper rash and also use it to massage your baby to promote better sleep.

Baby Lotion

This dermatologist-recommended lotion works well on even the most sensitive skin.

Infant Lounger

Boppy Loungers provide a comfortable and safe space for your baby to sit upright after feeds while you take care of your own needs. This can help to reduce spit-up/reflux.

Nursing/Pumping Bra

The SuperMom bra allows you to nurse, pump, or both at the same time (baby one side, pump on the other). It’s comfortable enough to wear all day so you’re not changing your bra every 3 hours.

Lollipop WiFi Monitor

This WiFi monitor can be easily moved from room-to-room which can be great for when your baby starts transitioning to their own room for naps and/or nighttime. It comes in 3 cute colors and is much less expensive than similar products.

Ubbi Diaper Pail

The Ubbi pail is great as you can use regular trash bags (I recommend the scented kind) rather than buying special bags.

Ergo 360 Omni

This carrier is great for older babies (and can be used for newborns too) for indoor and outside use (though I typically prefer the Solly wrap for indoor use and the Ergo for outdoor).

Foldout Book

The Black and White foldout book is excellent for keeping your little one entertained during tummy time, playtime, or for diaper changing.

Play mat

Using a play mat for tummy time and independent play is great for baby’s development while you take a break to grab a bite to eat/shower/”me-time”.

Baby tub

This is one area to NOT spend extra money. This is one of the cheapest tubs on the market and it’s still my favorite after almost 10 years of being a doula!

Washcloths

I love these soft washcloths for bathtime. If you’re extra resourceful you can even use them as reusable paper towels when you’re done 😉

When the coconut oil isn’t cutting it and baby has a bad rash, A&D tends to work very well.

Toothbrush Set

As soon as your little one sprouts their first tooth, you’ll need to develop a habit of daily brushing. This set makes it easy for all ages.

O Ball

I don’t typically recommend too many plastic toys, but this ball is a great first toy as it’s super easy to hold. It will last years and can be used to learn to catch or kick as your child gets older.

Swing

Of all of the swings on the market, this is still my favorite. It motions side-to-side or back-to-front with one easy switch, is comfortable for newborns and infants (reclines much more than other swings that I’ve seen), and is relatively inexpensive.

Book: Hunt Gather Parent

I highly recommend this book for a more relaxed parent-child relationship. There’s an audio version, too, if you prefer to listen on the go.
